Stewart Realty was founded in the early 1970's by Don, Stan and Barb Stewart. The company's longevity is a testament to its' professional, friendly service which continues to this day with our Realtors (Don Stewart and Hugh Stewart).
Stewart Realty strives to provide you, our customers, with the best possible service available, which is why we have opted to become members of the Lloydminster Real Estate Board, the Alberta Real Estate Association and the Canadian Real Estate Association. Through this membership, listings can be put on the MLS® national property website at REALTOR.ca. It is a member based service, paid for by REALTOR® members of the local real estate Board. The Canadian Real Estate Association owns the trademark, and only members belonging to a board, AREA and CREA are able to use the designation of REALTOR®.
If you are selling a property, listing with a REALTOR® provides a major advantage because only a REALTOR® is able to place your listing on the Multiple Listing Service. Realtors who use the MLS® service means your property gets maximum marketing exposure to all other members of the local Board.
If you are buying a property, the MLS® system is a valuable research tool for your REALTOR®. They can input the criteria you desire; for example, square footage, number of bedrooms, garage, and generate a list of all the properties that meet your needs. You can meet with your REALTOR® anywhere and get information on what listings are available through the MLS® in the area you are planning on moving to, be it Vermilion, Montreal, Vancouver or anywhere else.
Our Real Estate business includes selling residential homes, acreages, commercial properties, farmland, as well as offering property management and rentals. Over the years, Stewart Realty has been involved in the construction of residential houses, a duplex, a fifteen unit apartment building, our office building, a five-plex townhouse development and lastly, Horizon Place, an 18 unit adult living Condominium.
